Salaried ITR filed with both regimes compared, not assumed
Form 16, AIS and 26AS reconciled line by line so your refund is not held up by a mismatch.
For a salaried taxpayer, the two things that decide the outcome are the regime you pick and whether your return matches the data the department already holds. We compute your tax under the old and new regimes side by side, reconcile Form 16 with AIS and 26AS, claim HRA, 80C, 80D and home-loan interest correctly, and follow the refund through to credit in your bank account.

Frequently asked questions
- Which ITR form applies to a salaried person?
- ITR-1 for salary, one house property and interest income up to ₹50 lakh. ITR-2 applies once you have capital gains, more than one house property or foreign assets.
- Can I still claim HRA under the new regime?
- No. HRA, LTA and most Chapter VI-A deductions are unavailable under the new regime, which is exactly why we compare both before filing.
- My employer did not consider my 80C proofs — is it lost?
- Not at all. Deductions missed by the employer can be claimed directly in the return and usually come back as a refund.
- How long does the refund take?
- Usually 2–5 weeks after e-verification, provided your bank account is pre-validated and no mismatch is flagged.
