Proprietorship set up with the exact papers your bank will ask for
There is no single proprietorship certificate β banks accept a combination, and we assemble the right one.
A proprietorship has no separate incorporation, which is why the question is never how to register it but which registrations make it real. Banks typically want two government-issued proofs in the firm's name before opening a current account: usually GST plus Udyam, or a shop and establishment licence. We work out the right combination for your activity and state, obtain them together, and hand over a file the bank accepts without a second visit.

Frequently asked questions
- Is separate registration compulsory for a proprietorship?
- There is no incorporation as such. What you need depends on the activity β GST if you cross the threshold or sell interstate, a shop licence in most states, and Udyam for MSME benefits and banking.
- How is a proprietorship taxed?
- The business income is added to the proprietor's personal income and taxed at slab rates, reported through ITR-3 or ITR-4 under presumptive taxation.
- Can a proprietorship be converted to a private limited company later?
- Yes. The business can be taken over by a new company, and we handle that transition when your turnover or funding plans justify it.
